Free Compost Workshops![]() For beginning to experienced composters, these hands-on workshops will cover the basics of how composting works, which materials to use, and the different methods and types of compost bins available. Workshops are led by certified OSU Extension Service Compost Specialists. Worm Bin Composting![]() Learn the fun and easy way to compost by letting worms eat your garbage! Learn how to maintain a worm bin effectively, food management, harvesting, pests of the bin, minimizing problems, and how to use those wonderful castings! Dates and Locations: TBA (1.5 hrs $40, pre-paid) (No walk-ins on the day of the class. All pre-paid registrations must be received in the OSU Extension Service Farm and Garden office, 783 Grant St., Eugene, 97402, by 5 pm the Tuesday before the class.
